The Designated Drinkers is a not for profit softball team affiliated with Slow-Pitch Ontario through league registration. The team plays at the South West London Optimist Park formally known as Dreamers. Games are scheduled either Tuesday or Thursday nights or both starting at either 6:15pm or 8:15 pm. The Designated Drinkers play two back to back games against the visiting team. For more information about the rules and regulations of an SPO affiliated team please visit the rules page.

On weekends the Designated Drinkers also participate in tournaments throughout Ontario. In order to participate in a tournament teams must meet affiliation requirements: Slo-Pitch Nationals (SPN), National Slo-Pitch Association (NSA) or Slo-Pitch Ontario (SPO). When joining a league or playing in the first tournament of the year teams pay to become affiliated and must be renewed on a yearly basis. The most common locations the Designated Drinkers participate in tournaments at is Slow Pitch CIty in Dorchester Ontario, South West London Optimist Baseball Complex in London Ontario and the Annandale Baseball Diamonds located in Tillsonburg Ontario.
